As everyone has seen, the flooding in Louisiana has been devastating. There are several hundred children in Baton Rouge who have lost everything because of the flooding. Kid4Kid has been asked by a strategic partner on the grounds in Louisiana to help out 4 schools who are currently under water. Our partner, Pastor Kirk Jones and his church Fellowship Church of Prairieville, is a feeding a practical need distribution point for 2000-3000 people each day. As the children return to school, there is a significant need for school supplies, essentials and basic uniforms.
Kid4Kid is partnering with different churches and organizations around the country to collect backpacks filled with school supplies, as well as uniforms for the children by Labor day.
