Kid4Kid Louisiana Flood Relief Effort

As everyone has seen, the flooding in Louisiana has been devastating. There are several hundred children in Baton Rouge who have lost everything because of the flooding. Kid4Kid has been asked by a strategic partner on the grounds in Louisiana to help out 4 schools who are currently under water. Our partner, Pastor Kirk Jones and his church Fellowship Church of Prairieville, is a feeding a practical need distribution point for 2000-3000 people each day. As the children return to school, there is a significant need for school supplies, essentials and basic uniforms.

If you have a local church or organization who wants to get involved and join us as we collect these supplies for children and families affected by the flooding, please message us and we will help you get involved. Progress at La Semence

We are grateful for our partners Gateway Kids and Hunger Relief International and the progress on the new water collection cistern and the bathrooms for the children of the Orphanage.  They have struggled a long time and this is a tremendous improvement for them!  Exciting Progress!

Coffee for Kids

We thought the heading would peak your interest!  Kid4Kid Coffee is coming to the U.S.!  We are working with Haitian farmers to provide an all natural coffee to be packaged and sold to our U.S. church partners.  100% of all proceeds will be invested back in our  Educational and Job Training initiative for older children in the orphanages and for children who have aged out of the orphanages.  The opportunity will help older students work and have dignity to participate in their educational and training expenses.  This is an exciting opportunity and there are more details to come.  If you have any questions or would like more information, please click through and email us today.

We are looking for Churches to join the initiative

We are looking for churches who are interested in a long term relationship and support for an orphanage in need.  The support consists of apx $28.00 a month per child in the orphanage.  This covers their entire operating budget monthly.  If you are a church or business leader and would like more information please email us and we will setup a time to meet and discuss the need.

Maison Notre Dame de Lourdes Orphanage

Ms. Maud has done a great job getting the new facility completed and the children moved over.  Our visit was encouraging and it was great to see how the children have grown.  They all have the new beds and mattresses we provided and seem to be very happy.  

The new water system has changed the lives of the children and soon the surrounding community as well.  This is a far cry from not having running water 2 years ago.  We are so grateful for the support of those who helped us provide the resources for the water system.  They have brand new functioning showers, sinks and toilets.  It is truly life changing for the children.
